Corn Hill Arts Festival and MVP Health Care Support Emerging Artists

The 10th Annual Emerging Artists Expo is accepting applications until June 1, 2018

The Corn Hill Arts Festival, with support from MVP Health Care, will celebrate the 10th Annual Emerging Artists Expo on Saturday and Sunday, July 14 and 15. Each year, the Festival provides young artists between the ages of 15 and 25 the opportunity to exhibit their creations and interact with the local community.

Young artists are invited to apply to be featured at MVP’s Emerging Artists Expo. The selected artists are provided with a 10’x10’ booth, publicity, exposure, and a central payment station. The Festival also allows young artists to engage with the local community and build relationships, in addition to being eligible for prize money.

“Young artists are using their talents to enrich their community, while also inspiring and challenging us,” said Denise Gonick, MVP Health Care president and CEO. “MVP Health Care is pleased to sponsor the Expo as a way to spotlight these emerging artists, who are truly changing the face of Rochester.”

To apply, interested artists must complete the online or mail-in application by June 1; accepted applicants will be notified by June 11. For more information or to apply online, visit: http://cornhillartsfestival.com/emergingartists/.

The Emerging Artists Expo will be located on Eagle Street during the Festival. Visitors are encouraged to stop by and engage with the artists through feedback, browsing or purchasing their work.
